V-MODA, a brand acquired by Roland Corporation in 2019, needed to promote their newest product line, the S-80. As a company that produces headphones for DJs and music aficionados, they knew they had to make a big splash in such a competitive industry. They had to stand out.
So, they came to us to produce three social media promotional videos that aligned with their brand and caught the eye of distracted social media viewers with short attention spans. By ensuring dynamic collaboration between casting, location, film making, and editing for all three separate videos, we were able to effectively capture the essence of the V-MODA S-80 product line in a concise way.
To capture the unique personality of the product and target anticipated prospects, we chose the Arts District of Los Angeles for filming. The modernistic aesthetics and artistic sensations of the neighborhood supported both our vision and the expectations of the V-MODA brand. Furthermore, during the casting process we chose individuals with expertise in specific dance styles to complement the sound quality of the product and the audience of clubbers, musicians, DJs, and concert enthusiasts.
Within each of the three 15 to 45 second videos, we displayed harmony between the visual imagery, musical sound, and fluid performances. Using succinct visual storytelling, we efficiently highlighted the features of the product including personalization with customizable shields, durability for any lifestyle, and ease of use. The final result maximized the product’s personality, aligned the brand with viewer appeal, and grabbed attention from inattentive social media scroller.
